I have my B.A. Degree having graduated from the University of Iowa at Iowa City, Iowa at the age of 48 in May 2010 with a Women’s Studies Degree and a Sexuality Studies Certificate. Right after graduating from high school in June 1980 I attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor from September 1980 to March 1983 but I withdrew from there.
Work

I am a rejoicing and proud Christian lesbian black woman who is disabled but with a very joyous and positively optimistic attitude who right now doesn’t work. I receive disability benefits as my income.
Hobbies and Interests

I am a very avid reader so loving books and being a book addict. I love books on self-help and 12-Step Recovery Programs, sexism, feminism, women’s studies, LGBTQIA, religion  not only Christianity but regarding other religions, race relations, racism, Whiteness Studies, African and African-American Studies, all people in general, mysteries, LGBT romance and other romance, good old fashioned crime dramas, non-fiction, novels, and fiction.  I love a good hot mug of coffee. I really love coffee a whole lot! I am a people person. I  so love all of our Good God’s children! I enjoy music and it is such a sheer delight, and I enjoy so, so much singing when I can. I am a true sports fan, loving women’s softball and basketball, women’s and men’s college basketball, major league baseball, minor league baseball, WNBA basketball, NBA basketball, some NFL and definitely college  football, soccer, lacrosse, and to a certain extent other sports! What great fun! I don’t play sports due to my physical disabilities but I enjoy watching for sure!
Pets, Children, Grandchildren

I am a true couch potato but I am very conscientiously working on being more active(SMILE!!!!!!!). It can be hard with my physical disabilities and chronic pain but I keep the faith and a bright, smiling face! I don’t have children, no grandchildren.

I was raised Catholic but I left the Catholic church right after I turned 20. Ever since I have been a Protestant. I am a rejoicing and proud member of Faith United Church of Christ here where I live in Iowa City, Iowa USA.
Relationship Status

I am single right now and have such faith that I will someday find my soul mate in a so, so very dear woman to so  love and cherish! I would also so love to have more friends-sisters and brothers in our Sweet Jesus are very important, too!
